What is Pigeon Rat holding in its hands?
Walking around after physical therapy on Veterans Day. No remarkable foliage. No remarkable reflections on the holiday.
I'm interested here in implicit versus explicit traces of human activity, and maybe where it runs into the ongoing process of decay, or the accumulation of grime -- a sedimentary kind of entropy.
I wonder if that iced dessert was left behind because somebody didn't like the flavor, or if they decided they weren't hungry, or maybe something called them away suddenly, or they simply set it down and forgot about it. There are two little spoons, which thickens the plot.
And how about those paving stones? I think they must have been taken up for repair work, then hastily put back in they way manhole covers with road striping on them are often plunked back down without any effort at alignment.
That epic graffiti. Are they using some sort of high-pressure sprayer from the ground? It seems too ambitious to be unsanctioned, but what do I know?
What is Pigeon Rat holding in its hands?
