This was a hasty photo dump I assembled before flying out west to be with my family for the holiday. As I write this, it is December 4, 2024, but I assembled the pictures on the 25th of last month, and that's how I've dated them here.

I'm not sure what kind of convention I might like to follow, if any at all, about how to date these entries. I like to get a sense of how my visual observations of the world around me flow through time, so they'll probably always be roughly chronological.

In any case, I ended up spending a lot of time working on my portfolio. But I'll make another post here with photos from Nevada, and especially a very nice hike I took on Sunday in the McCullough Hills -- as the linked article mentions, this was part of the historic land of the Mojave people.
