$ _
After my first physical therapy session yesterday, I decided to have lunch at Carol's Bun, following Robert Sietsma's recommendations in Eater. For $9 I chose some Chinese broccoli, salt and pepper chicken, and a delicious piece of fish poached in herbs, spices, and fermented black beans, over probably slightly too much rice (which I ate anyway). I found a bench at Seward Park to eat it, as the two card tables outside of Carol's are continuously occupied by grizzled old men who make too much direct eye contact.
While editing these photos, I tried to remove the car behind the delivery cyclist using Lightroom's AI-aware eraser. It worked well! Until I noticed that the car's shadow remained. So then I tried to remove the car+the shadow, but it made mincemeat out of the crosswalk stripes. It's probably for the best.
Here are some photos from Seward park and the immediate vicinity. I would have made the walk longer, as the light was only getting better. But my ankle was starting to yell at me so I went home.
